I know as the seasons change I get itchy to change the decor, bedding, color and just about everything from walls to floor. Sometimes bedding alone at some upscale stores can leave your credit card  in the red.

Here I have bedding, pillows, lamps, art, curtains and an area rug all from Target. You don’t have to get expensive just to get a Designer look for your bedroom, you just have to combine the right elements.

Here I started with the bedding. I was looking for something with a pattern and plaid but didn’t want the typical plaid look. Not a big fan of the gray but I added color to the room with that warming cinnamon color.

Accent the walls with a grounding dark cinnamon color, artwork to coordinate and an area rug with just a little splash of color to tie it in.

Make sure your lamps are bright  enough to case a warm glow in your room for that extra coziness.
