Is there a color cure for this kitchen?

Can’t stand the heat so get out of the kitchen! Really, this is one hot looking kitchen and not in a good way. Red as we know is a warm/hot color but when is being hot not good? When your kitchen looks like this.


This is a $1,000,000 home in the very desirable Marvin location and will be an amazing home for someone but first, let’s get the right color in this kitchen.

I recently did a post of The Dreaded Orange Kitchen and you can see that this kitchen also has a strong presence of orange. So let’s choose a color that will tone down the orange, bring out the beautiful layout of this kitchen and accentuate the tile and counter tops. Here’s my suggestion:

I’ve actually used this color in a Marvin kitchen before and it looked beautiful! There really isn’t that much wall space in a kitchen so it’s nice to have a light color that will make it appear large and just accentuate the kitchen decor. Look at the yellow arrows, see how nice it will match? Give it a try!
