Did you ever hear a Designer say, “You can use this color just as an accent color. It would be perfect for pillows, throw blankets, area rugs and home accessories.” RED FLAG: In other words, it’s our way of delicately saying be super careful of this hue because it’s crazy bright and will probably not look good in your home – except in small amounts. I know because I’ve said it as well and this is exactly what I mean when I utter those words.
Is this a bad thing? No, of course not! But it’s just a couthful way of warning people about their color choices.
You’ll find that on my blog, I’m brutally honest about color and I think people appreciate that. Some other blogs you’ll see are a bit more dancy around the point they are trying to make but I’m here for YOU! I give it to you straight. No fuss no muss and no dancing around color.
Have any questions about your color choices? If you can’t find the answers here on this blog, just send me an email and I’d love to help you out 🙂
