It was an EXTREMELY productive week. I think on Sunday I’m going to do a recap of the week for my blog. There are just so many new followers, great posts, and comments that I’d like to thank certain people for stopping by.
Featured visitor • Christine from Decorum DIYer. She has a great DIY blog so be sure to stop by and see what she’s up to.
I also want to thank Todd Vendituoli of Home Central, The Building Blox, who is just a crazy and very much appreciated Master of Social Media. I highly recommend you follow his blogs and get to know him.
New Followers – 113 and I wish I can send each of you a thank you but that would take me all week. I hope you are reading this so I can feature you in a personal thank you one Sunday. Thank you all and feel free to comment or ask questions.
Mood Boards – I’ve discovered making Mood boards and jut can’t stop! I like Oli-boards but just didn’t like the way the perspective was off and the graphics a bit too choppy for me so – I make my own and love it. Expect to see tons of these and they may become my signature look.
It was a great week for posts. I just had a productive mind this week I guess and my #1 post is:
What Happens When your Cat Wakes you Up Too Early on a Saturday – I going to start a Cats & Color series so keep an eye out for that. LoL, my two favorite things, cats and color – perfect.
I have another blog called A Color Specialist in Charlotte and I gave it a few look and logo. It’s another great place for a ton of color information. Please stop by if you can.
When I’m not blogging or working I remain in my studio and paint. I’ve been working on several projects to get ready for the Waxhaw Spring Fest in May. These are some of the projects I’m working on.
My vases:
And I’ll have some paintings there. This one is my interpretation of Rembrandt’s The Stone Bridge painted on a kitchen cabinet panel.
Let’s see, what else? Oh yea! How can if forget Google Plus? I’ve been spending A LOT of time there because that is my social media platform of choice. Twitter is becoming a bit boring and limited to me, Facebook is ok but not 100% happy with it but through trial and error I’ve found G+ to be my favorite place to hang. Here’s my G+ profile if you want to join me there and I’ve also started my own Community called Decorating by Donna – clever name right? It’s a community that is dedicated to the homes of South Charlotte which is where I live and where all my clients reside, and color of course. Fun place to hang.
I think that’s about it for the week. Along with my virtual color consultations that have been keeping me busy each week (thank you God) I’ve been doing the usual Mom thing when I’m not working as The Color Specialist in Charlotte.
Thanks for the feature. It is quite an honor. I look forward to seeing moodboards from you.
I have a few already. Look at the MOOD BOARD link on my webpage – on top in the black bar. Aren’t they fun to make?
