Sherwin Williams; What a Concept … in Color

I mention color trends and paint color ALL the time, after all, it’s my world! I want to share with you the one paint fan deck that has not left my side for quite some time now. Sherwin Williams, Concepts in Color.

This one little tiny deck that Sherwin Williams has is ALMOST all the color you need for your home – for now. I say that because the blues and greiges that I have pictured here are HOT HOT HOT.

COLOR TREND’s

Beige, white and builder’s beige of any kind are leaving the home – fast. Now this is just noted in my demographical area of South Charlotte, NC so it may be different if your world.

Clients are telling me:

“I can’t stand white. Please choose another color to replace it”

“I can’t believe I STILL have builders beige in my home. I want a COLOR!”

(when I choose a color close to beige)

“Isn’t that already what I have on the wall (client referring to Builders Beige). I want something different, with color.”

“I want more life in my home. No more beige or white in my home.”

And the comments just go on and on. I can confidently say that the blues, now shifting to cooler, lighter gray-blues such as the ones below are super hot paint color for 2013 and 2014.
