Don’t Rule Out Pink For Your Home Exterior

Pink would be the last color I’d choose for the exterior of a building or home but don’t you agree this looks gorgeous?

I took this picture in Savannah Georgia and just thought it was stunning! I always keep my eyes open and my camera ready for usual color schemes.

I realize that there are so many qualifying restrictions before you can even consider this hue but definitely consider it. You may get striking results.

  1. Donna, I find this image is very inspiring, and I love pink! Of course not pink from Barbie dollhouse, but some other hues, like this, for example, are very appealing to me. I have seen lots of houses similar to this in the south of Italy and they were so beautiful! What about decorating with pink interior? Can you give some little tips? Thank you! Anna

It’s risky business decorating with pink anywhere and only have done it a handful of times – not including nurseries of course. Pink is a hard sell. Do you use it often?

  3. No, not really! But I tried to paint my bedroom with very soft tint of salmon pink, the result was something like this – . I really love how it feels now in the room. Just need to make the decorating part now.
