What are sexy colors for the Master Bedroom? Red? Blue? Purple? Well yes to all of the above. The trick is to find the right compromise in the bedroom to get the perfect color scheme. After all, isn’t that what life is all about, compromises?
I bet the first color that you thought of when you read “sexy color for the bedroom” you thought of red right? It’s so stereotypical to think of sexy and red together. However, do you really want a red bedroom?
Red is a very tricky color to work with. Too much red and your bedroom will look like the set of an Austin Powers movie. How about using red in just accents? Yeah, that’s a really good idea.
Now about purple? Purple is a really good idea because it’s a color that is liked by both men and women without being too feminine or too masculine. You don’t have to do Barney purple but just enough of this trending hue to class up your room into one of the longer lasting color trends.
Don’t like purple? Take out some of the red it has and it tones down to blue. Keep the blue on the slate side and pair it up with gray which you already probably have in your home.
Add some bronze metallic and just about any kind of animal print and you’ll be on your way to one sexy bedroom!
I can’t wait to send you my picture of our master bedroom that I finally am getting done! Dark blue (midnight) gray/silver, and white. And gilt on picture frames. Sexy? I don’t know. I was going for Classy but cozy–and I think both those things equal sexy. Looks something along these lines (from Pinterest) http://www.pinterest.com/pin/37295503138665781/
