Choosing Contemporary Color For a Bungalow In Dilworth Charlotte

When we think of the Bungalow home we certainly don’t or shouldn’t have contemporary colors come to mind. This just goes to show you that you never know what a client wants when we get together to talk about color for their home.

Recently I had a client in Historic Dilworth in Charlotte. It was a cute Bungalow style home on the outside and a very contemporary, custom design on the inside.

The home is still going under renovations so I don’t have any pictures yet but I wanted to share the color palette I chose for this client. They wanted mostly neutrals with some accent colors to coordinate with their kitchen backsplash. Here’s what I did:

  2. Like them all … except the pink. But that’s just me. I’m not a pink person. All of these look great together, but are different enough to give your client plenty of interest! Very nice.
