Coastal colors for the home are still very popular.

As you see, there are several color palettes that you can design from just one photograph, here I have two. They are similar but still have a nice variation.

I like this larger one because I pulled the gray out from the water which will make a great foyer color or kitchen color.

The green is perfect for a living room especially if you have an open floor plan, you’ll see this green and gray together which will be beautiful!

Get dramatic in the dining room with that gorgeous dark blue. Have white trim or a white char rail? Perfect. There will just enough white in the room to balance a dark color such as navy.

And who doesn’t love a relaxing blue in the bedroom? I know because so many of my clients ask for a blue bedroom and it’s for a reason.

So next time you have an inspiration photo such as this one. Keep pulling colors out until you find the right combination for you home. There are many apps available to help out but I personally, love just choosing the colors by eye.
