Hmmm, I Really Like PPG’s Color Trends for 2015

It’s getting to be that time of year where we or at least I, start getting excited to see the colors that will popular for 2015. I just came a blog post in my WordPress reader and saw a post for PPG The Voice of Color and clicked on the link to their color trends and was pleasantly surprised. I saw colors I actually like and have been posting about!

Now the colors look a little odd altogether here on one page. You’re probably saying that you’d never have these hues in your home but think again.

I’d first like to start off by saying that I’m really tired of blue and gray. I know a lot of people have blue and gray in the home and I’m not saying it’s ugly I’m just saying they are in just about every home I go into. Refreshing is the home where I go in and see Copper Beech or Wet Coral as accents mixed in with Curlew. Now that would be a pleasant surprise or even better if my clients would let me introduce these colors to them. How cozy that would be!

Maybe something like this? Love the burnt orange sofa and I’ve been chatting about that color for a while now. Look at the dark brown floor, great wood to bring into the home instead of the yellow of maple or those “dreaded orange” wood tones that you’ve heard me rage about.

Copper accents, Back to Basic pillow designs, natural wood, hand-scraped floors and leave the blue out! Start bringing in green of all kinds. That my friends, is refreshing!
