What will the colors of 2015 look like?

… well I can tell you this. My graphics will have a new look and a new feel. Sound exciting? Yes, I think so too!

You may have seen a few of the new graphics already but take a look at this one. How does this one make you feel?belief

As you can see, the name of this color palette is “belief” and inspired by the painting of Terri Lind Davis titled “Magic Happens”. And that’s exactly what happens when you choose the right colors for your home, its magic. Feelings change, the home looks better, the home FEELS better and that is what choosing the right color for your home is all about.

You could be asking if I just choose two colors from Terri’s painting to make my graphic. That’s a great question and that is typically how colors graphics are designed. Some people use color apps to design these graphics – I always design by eye and from feelings. That’s really a better way to design a color palette don’t you think? Clearly.

I looked at Terri’s painting and “believe” in Angels so that is where the title came from. As far as the colors, well I closed my eyes and thought of belief. What colors are “belief”?

That’s a very strange sentence and poor grammar I’m sure but that is the question I ask when I design my color palettes. When I think about belief, I perhaps would be praying or looking up in the sky and hoping on a belief. The sky is blue and that is where my “belief” comes from.

Where does your belief come from?
