Now that’s color! Wouldn’t it be great to use color in your home and have your home look different from everyone else’s?

I’m going to show you how to do that.

Well the first thing to do is stop looking at the color trends and start looking at what you like. Do you like these colors? Do you like all of them or just one of them? I like all of them and even like this palette together. It’s different!

Start with the colors you like, let’s say the blue on the bottom. Where can you use that in your home? To me, it looks a little too dark to use as a main wall color but certainly as an accent feature somewhere in your home would be nice – with a lighter wall of course and that lighter can be a beige or tan – I don’t even want to use gray. I’m trying to warm up the homes now and gray is beautiful but let’s try some other colors.

Here are some Benjamin Moore colors that are similar to what I have here. I also found some generic bedding that most of you may have, it’s nothing fancy yet the colors are typical of what you’d like. The only difference is that I’m going way out of your comfort zone with the wall color. Take a look:
