2017 Color Trends: We Need To Get Back To Nature

Recently a facebook friend of mine mentioned that she had a turquoise color room in her home that she repainted years ago but wished she kept it.

I showed her my rendition of a color palette that I feel will be popular for 2017 – yes I’m jumping ahead here – and there is a turquoise/aqua but muted. I toned mine down.

The turquoise that has been popular since 2010 by Pantone is way too bright! I muted mine and brought other earthy tones into it giving it a “back to nature” earthy feel.

I hope, hope, hope, that our color palette will get more natural so our mindset will be about Nature and living and loving our land again and bringing that feel into our lives and our homes.

Looking forward to seeing what Color Marketing Group selects for 2017. Please keep it earthy.

hello. which are ral or pantone codes for your proposal?

    • Donna Frasca says:

Amalia – if you like the names of these colors, you’ll need to send me an email and tell me what paint brand you want to work with. I don’t use Pantone, mainly Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Valspar and Behr. I offer a Color Ala Carte service that will be perfect for what you’re looking for 🙂
