Isn’t that a nice gold? Talk about a color that has Holistic impact. It’s healing, warm and has a strong energy.
You’re hearing me talk a lot about these “colors that heal” and “feel good for the home” and onward and upward I go!
As the days of using gray and blue for the home dwindle, we are now focusing more on real color. These are colors that have life, fun and just are unexpected when we enter into a home.
How awesome would it be to see that gold in the foyer as the first color we meet as we enter the home? Good-bye beige, gray and white.
From the second you come into your home you’re greeted with a “wow! I wasn’t expecting that!” on the faces of your friends and family.
Tie it in with green – yes go dark – accents and brighten it up with SOFT whites. NO MORE WHITEY WHITES!
Now I’m not talking that gross wishy-washy dated beige but talking about a neutral that compliments the COLOR in your home. That neutral of course will depend on the colors that you are using.
See the light neutral I have in the graphic? It’s nice because if you were to use a stark white for your trim and ceiling, your eyes will fall out. Kidding! But seriously, it’ll be way too much contrast.
I want you to notice the color in your home like that bright rug from NWRugs. Notice the color. Feel the color and have the rest of you home play off that.
No more safe whites, grays and sad blues. Get your color on.
