It’s far and few between where I get a client who specifically asks for Earth Tones for their home. Why? Well because most people are hesitant to put comfy colors or colors that they love in their home. They’re following color trends and not their heart.
Today, I have a virtual request for Earth Tones and I can’t wait to dive into this one! I feel all warm and fuzzy already and guess what? That feeling will also be echoed in their home. See why Holistic Color works?

The SW strip with Kilim beige, Nomadic Desert and Latte seeem to be used a lot in NC. Earth tones IMO will always work well.
And good catch on those colors! They ARE used a lot which is why I don’t use them. Many “Designers” have “go to colors” that just match everything and the ones you mentioned are them to the T. You’ll find many model homes in those colors as well because they match all types of granites. Now that the trend is so blue and gray, I’m finding this less true but still, those are colors that to me, are dated.
