Are We Still Loving Sea Salt?

Sea Salt is still a very popular Sherwin Williams color. After suggesting it for several Virtual Clients, let me tell you why I like it.

I’m showing you a clients graphic and the color I used for them. Why? Because Sea Salt is so popular that you can really tell what color it is just by looking at it. It’s really a no brainer.

Why do I like Sea Salt? Well that’s a trick question because I normally don’t use colors that are this popular because anyone can choose a popular color and it will look ok in their home. No special talent needed there however, Sea Salt has one advantage.

It changes.

Depending on your light it can look a bit greenish or one day it can look blue and even come across as a gray depending on your light. I tell my clients it’s like getting three colors in one and that, comes in handy.

Sea Salt can also have a Country flair, Coastal or be very Contemporary. It really should be on the Classic or Timeless List for Sherwin Williams.

Will I ever use Sea Salt in my home?

Well that’s a trick question. In the current home that I have no, I would not because it just doesn’t fit my “warm and cozy” must have for the home feeling. However, that water front condo that I’ll have someday? Yes, Sea Salt will be #1 on the list.
