There are very few people secure enough in their color choices to boldly use pink in their home.
I know I painted my home office pink just for fun not because I liked the color and now, it’s my favorite room in the house.
What about the main part of your home? Would you ever try such a feminine color in your living room?

I think it’s a very refreshing change from all the blue and gray that we are seeing. Why not paint your living room pink?
A client of my wanted her entire home shades of pink because it was HER house and it was HER favorite color.
The surrounding rooms of course will have to coordinate. You can either “man them up” or stay with the lighter side of pink if you are the sole lady of the house. Here are some coordinating colors to consider if you are using pink in your living room.
As you can see, still very pretty but has a very feminine flair. To man up these colors, just try making them more saturated. You can also try a cranberry, charcoal gray, dark brown even a little black for your surrounding rooms and just leave your living room – pink!

Hi Donna. I agree…I once painted a room pink and found it wonderfully elegant and relaxing. Love your colors! ❀ˆ◡ˆ❀
Thank you Gloria. My pink room is the best “feel” in the house. Oh this sounds like a new blog post!!! 🙂
