The Color Of Birds

I don’t know about you but I LOVE birdwatching!!! What does it involve? Well a lot of bird seed of course but more importantly, amazing color. That is is one of the key identifiers when you are a bird watcher.

The color of birds bringing the outdoors in

This is such a great way to choose color for your home! Take a look at each of these birds and see which color palette resonates with you.

Like Nature, with the exception of the red Cardinal or the yellow Goldfinch, most of these color palettes have an overall neutral feeling. These birds blend right into their surroundings so they can go unnoticed yet still have a beautiful presence and subtle color palettes.

Come take a look at some of the birds that I like, maybe you’ll like them too!

  1. I really love how you keep reminding us of how color can connects us to nature–I love the green from the hummingbird-and I am not a green person and the warbler palette is beautiful-really a very inspired way to think about color and connection-

It’s all about the Holistic approach – when color goes beyond just having pigment on the wall, it taps into how we feel, much like your photographs. The colors and effects you use connect your pics right to our heart. It made me like dogs a little more everyday … but don’t tell my cats 🙂
