Don’t you love how color trends bounce around? I love (sarcasim) how the paint companies announce “THE COLOR OF THE YEAR” and it’s like – didn’t we see this before?
The only way color trends will be different is if YOU change them. The public (retail) will only go with what is safe and what the majority of people will like.
For example, Benjamin Moore who continually chooses some type of white for their go to colors. And Sherwin Williams who just choose Poised Taupe SW 6039. YUK AND BORING.
You can choose color AND safe colors such as a cream and taupe but incorporate COLOR with it.
Can’t part with blue and gray? That’s fine but bring in COLOR to go with it. Here I have two colors that you don’t normally see with blue and gray and they are gold and peach. Trust me when I tell you that this will be a gorgeous color palette for your home!
Just think outside the box OR at the very least, compromise color trends with what YOU love.
