If you’re like most people, the dining room, if you even have a formal room, is used but once or twice a year. So to make this room super special for these rare occasions, what color should you use for your dining room?
Ok now this dining room will give you a little trouble IF you keep that area rug. The teal will be a really tough color to blend in with the rest of your home.
What are our choices?
Well if you keep the rug, you’ll more than likely have to keep neutral like Wicker Basket by Benjamin Moore. Kinda basic and generic.
Or, you could try something a little different and use Sagebrush also a Benjamin Moore color. The only trouble with this color is that you’ll have to tie in the rest of your home to coordinate and you may have to hire a Professional for that one to make sure all the undertones are compatible.
Both colors are nice. What would I choose? Sagebrush. I’d bring in creamy neutrals like Butter Cookie and Greenwich Gate.
Keep in mind if you have an open floor plan, all these colors need to transition well from room to room. You can always bring more color in your dining room with decor.
