When we meditate, our surroundings must soothe, calm and relax us. After all, this is the point of meditation. What color would you paint your meditation room to visually relax your mind? Here are a few color suggestions for your meditation room.

Tap into that zen place to help you relax. Start with color.
As you can see there are a variety of colors to choose from depending on what colors you gravitate towards. I prefer the natural colors for my mediations room, more earthy such a green-based room.
I have plants, shells, art and crystals in my room so those items add all the color I need for my meditation room. Having said that, I like my wall color to be in the background, almost unnoticeable.
Some people would love that beautiful lavender, perhaps following your Crown Chakra? Or the blues to take you away to the comfort of those coastal beaches.
Whether you choose an earthy color, a Chakra color or a color that sparks a relaxing memory for you, make sure that you connect with that color. Once your mind is relaxed your body will follow.
Enjoy your meditation and breathe . . . . . .
I like greens, especial the first one.
Good choice Cathy and so far it seems like a lot of people are gravitating towards green. That is very close to the color I have in my meditation room. Love the earthy hues!
