Do we really want pure white in the home? I know softer whites such as Cloud White by Benjamin Moore bring a coziness into the home that can be felt on many levels. What can Cloud White do for your home?
Cloud White is a pretty perfect color. It’s not so white that you feel you’re in a hospital and it teeters just close enough to pale, pale yellow that you can almost feel its warmth. Warmth? That’s right! It’s a warm white.
The greens that I have above would also be considered warm greens and they would be the perfect partner to Cloud White. Sure just about any white will go with any color but and you know there’s always a big but, you have to consider those undertones.
I always gravitate towards greens and it’s because I just love the woods, mountains and forests so much. Green is my happy color! As a matter of fact, three out of these four greens are in my home, not this exact ones but very close to them.
Keeping the holistic home in mind, start to soften your home by using soft whites. Here, I’m talking about self healing.
For those of you who are not in the best of health, trust me when I tell you that color will play a huge role in your recovery. From ADHD and depression to cancer, the visual of colors can naturally heal. I know for myself I had a bout of depression and gold saved the day for me!
So read the links in this post, here is one that I love when it comes to healing color in the home. A healing room in the home? Yes and you guessed it, it’s all about your color choices.
When you are choosing even a simple trim color for your home, there is a lot to consider. Trim color can be the foundation for the rest of the color palette of your home. Start it with warm tones and warm intentions and build from there.
