A good place to start would be with crystals. It sounds simple, and it is. What I have here are a few things that I love. When you surround yourself with something, you love you instantly create a healing home. Let’s talk about this a little more.

Crystals and, of course, color is a perfect start for the healing home.

Look at the beautiful purple color, it’s an amethyst sphere. These are the little details in the home that make a really big difference.

Just the other day a client was telling me that she HAS to paint her walls white (poor thing) for some reason or another but still wanted my color advice. My advice, of course, was to paint over the white walls. I honestly can’t remember when I even saw white walls in someone’s house. Even renters are opting for a soft ivory, light gray or even a muted light green. Anyway, going back to this amazing crystal, you can simply add color by adding crystals to your home. Not only do they come in an array of colors but each crystal has its own healing properties.

This amethyst sphere promotes healing on a deeper level. Ever go to a spa? Notice that there may be a lot of purple and lavender there? Maybe not so much purple but certainly lavender. This is why you see it there- because it soothes the soul. More than likely there is also an abundance of lavender essential oil that is infused throughout the room. 

I ask you, if you feel so amazing when you go to a spa, why don’t you bring a little spa into your home? I’m not saying to paint your walls lavender although that would be pretty awesome.

Whisper Violet by Benjamin Moore is really nice, really subtle and you still get that spa-like feeling when you look at it. Why not use this color in your bedroom?

What I’m saying here is intention is key. When you add crystals to your home, add them with the intention to calm, soothe and heal your home. When your mind is focused, your body will follow. There is a HUGE trend in bringing spirituality into the home and it’s for a reason. Start with crystals.
