Full Moon, New Season, and Red

I don’t share my energy reports here but felt guided to today. Why? Because energy also has to do with color.

We are SO in the full moon now and here again, it’s The Worm Moon. This is just one name you can call the full moon for the month of March. Since we are coming out of the winter season here in the Northern Hemisphere and entering into spring, now is the time to come out of hibernation. It’s the time when the land begins to show signs of life again and a new start takes place as the season unfolds.

New Season, New Beginnings, New Color

In the northern hemisphere, we are starting the new spring season. Focus on the grounding color of red to keep you centered.

Wildlife, such as the worms, awaken and begin crawling around again. It starts the feeding cycle for the birds, particularly the robin which is why it’s called the Worm Moon.

How does this moon affect us? Well, like spring slowly awakens, you too may have found it difficult to sleep last night. You’re feeling the pull of the moon and it’s jump-starting your internal clock to get your ready for longer days.

Like the demise of the worm, you to may experience a “consequence” during this time of awakening. Be it lack of sleep, no motivation, making poor decisions or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time, know that you HAVE to experience this energy in order to move forward.

These are life lessons and it’s working in one with nature … as awful as it may feel at times it’s always for our best and highest good.

Going outside is a MUST today. Notice the new life springing around you. Ground and get your hands and feet into the earth and reconnect with her. She has changed and has much to offer you.

Just a note on color. Most of us will feel off today and it stinks that it’s also Monday. Wear red to help energize you, it will work. Love rubies? Wear them. This is also a great color to have in the home. Tomato red is awesome but it’s too much hue for you, check out burgundy. Red is also a color I HIGHLY recommend having in the home, it is the color of the Root Chakra.

From blood red to pink, tap into this hue to help ground you through the effects of the full moon.
