I highly suggest this color because I have it in my home and know it works. It’s the perfect blend between a beige, a gray, and a soft white.

Like life, unless I see it, feel it or experience it, it’s just hearsay, or it doesn’t exist, and yes, that applies to color as well. I also really love Valspar colors, especially their Historic Trust colors. Why? Because it seems like EVERYONE has Sherwin Williams in their home and the looks are getting saturated, there is no uniqueness anymore. Valspar has a beautiful array of colors from earthy to bright, and if you combine the right ones, it is a knockout color palette.

Go look on Pinterest at Coastal Colors. Sure, many of my coastal color palettes will show up, but the “been there done that” look is clearly evident. Most of the color palettes on Pinterest are Sherwin Williams, and when that happens, the same colors are used over and over again. That is just ONE reason I really love Valspar colors because they are newer to the eye and seriously need to be in the home. I have them in mine and will be highlighting that shortly.

Ok, back to hallway color. Light Raffia is such, and I mean SUCH a great color! It probably looks very ordinary here because our monitors don’t bring life to any color. Another reason I love this color is that it goes with most WARM color palettes. Like color hues? This will not work. If you have warm in your home, try using this, you won’t be disappointed. 

Light Raffia really makes white trim pop, compliments most if not all floorings, and is like a hug as you walk down the hallway – it feels that good!
