I love seeing how color trends change over time. I just saw this photo on the Sherwin Williams site and loved it. Color does have many faces, and like our own expressions, the face stays the same but expressions change.

This is clearly a historic home, but haven’t we seen this color a million times but in different expressions? I love this spicy orange and had it in my home years ago. Do I have a historic home? No, but that is the great thing about color, you can give it a new expression based on its surroundings.

Color can never be locked into one category, not even black or white. Color has stories, feelings, and emotions. Tap into it.
