Make Me Feel Good!

The four words I am now hearing most when it comes to color in the home. So many people are turning to color for healing, to energize and to soothe. Can color achieve this? Yes.

I’m getting a lot of requests for colors that FEEL good. I love how people are turning to color to help them adjust to the new energies. Here I have a bathroom, and no, it’s not blue; that feels good, relaxing, and will undoubtedly help soothe those feelings of anxiety.

Green is my go to color for the home. It represents the heart chakra and it’s all about bringing the outside in. We are HUNGRY for reconnecting with nature so I highly and I mean highly, bring as many plants as you can inside your home, and green it up.

If you have pets, be careful with plants, many are poisonous to them. Some artificial plants are perfect. The one I have shown in this graphic is from IKEA. I’ve also gotten some great plants at the local arts and crafts stores and some online, of course. Some companies specialize in just plants.

Now about green, just read my blog, and you’ll see that I post a lot about green. Blue is pretty, too, but we should expand our color wheel and look at other options. I’m going to recommend Valspar for the BEST choice in greens.

Back to the bathroom; it’s in this room where we can have some color fun. I’m also about taking the color up and over the ceiling, removing the white from the room. I SO hope this will be a new trend in the future.
