What Colors Will Soothe My Soul?

As you well know, color is more than just pigment on the wall; it’s a visual that can soothe your soul. What colors can do this? Tap into the coolness of blues, lavenders, and greens.

I recently posted about a spiritual experience I had that talked about my future and even mentioned a specific color palette that I’ll be designing. This had my brain full throttle, and you can read the post here. I did like the color palette I designed, just not the layout. Here I used a lotus flower, and the flow feels much better.

I would love to see purple coming in to play at this time. I don’t mean Barney purple, just lovely soothing shades like the one I have featured above. It’s muted and very calming. What’s great about purple, well lavender actually, is that it goes with many other colors to easily be added to any home without too much concern.

Most people gravitate towards warmer colors, but I really feel these cooler hues will definitely “cool temperaments” down. I don’t know about you, but this past week was rough! I am surrounding myself in cool lavenders, from the clothes I wear to jewelry.

Amethysts are coming into play big time. I am wearing my rings and necklaces in the purple hue, and even my shirt is a bit darker than lavender in the graphic, and it feels good!
Definitely no reds, oranges, or yellows for me at this time!
