For whatever reason, sometimes as adults, we find ourselves back home again. Moving into our childhood bedroom is not only challenging physically but emotionally hard as well, for everyone.
The color that was perfect for us when we were 10 years old no longer suits our needs as an adult. With so many color options to choose from, which color now fits into our adulthood?

What I like about this color palette is that it is pleasing for men, women, guests, and returning children (now adults) to the home. Blue is not just for boys anymore, it’s a cool soothing color that taps into the throat chakra and if I know my kids, they always have a lot to say. By the way, that throat chakra point works both ways. It’s a challenge for parents, once empty nesters, now sharing their space once again.
See how blue can cool down thoughts and emotions? I’m not in this situation where my kids have returned home but of course they are always welcome IF needed. Another element I like about this color palette is the balance with the neutral colors here. Neutral colors are more than just beige and gray, they are resting places for our thoughts and feelings. Sometimes we NEED to see these visuals.
