I visited the Botanical Garden this weekend and the plants were amazing! I was of course drawn to the colors. This plant, some type of Air Plant, particularly caught my eye because I LOVE the silvery sage colors it has.
If you ever struggle for color inspiration, go to your nearest garden center, botanical garden or even be inspired by what’s in your yard, and just look.
Many of the colors found in nature are the perfect color palette. This inspiration can be as big as an autumn tree or found on a little tiny weed embedded into your lawn.
In this color palette, you see three colors, a light almost white, a silvery blue, and sage green, to define them simply. Of course, there are many other colors in this photo, and you can paint till the cows come home from all the variations found here. From the pinks to the greens, this is one unique color palette.
Anyway, I just wanted to show you how amazing nature is, and, taking it one step further, if you use this color palette for your home, be sure to add many Air Plants as decor to tie it all in. Just gorgeous!
