I am living proof that these two worlds, not only mix well but are a perfect mix at that. How do I know? Because it’s my life to the T. As 2021 comes to an end, 2022 is already unfolding and I’m excited to get this journey rolling.
I was drawn to these colors the other day and had to write about them. It really started with the plum color. This purple hue is such a spiritual color and can be found in crystals such as amethyst and really many decor items when it comes to spirituality.
The blue teal was the second color I was drawn to. To me, it doesn’t feel like a sky blue, a coastal, or even a nautical blue, it felt like a mystical color that has a story to tell. It felt like insights yet it felt magical, like wallowing in your best Zen day and capturing it in a color.
I always like green but the one here teeters between an earthy green and that of gold alchemy. It’s an unusual color to see in the home but in the right room, this green would be stunning.
All three of these colors together are a very different look from what we’re used to having in the home – and that’s a good thing.
Look at how color palettes have changed over the years – from coastal colors to the gray days. Blue has always been up there in the best colors for the home and I’d so welcome a change in those blue.
For all our colors, get early, get saturated, and have the colors in your home mean something. Color is a journey. Our lives are definitely a journey. Have the colors in your home, tell your story.
Thanks for sharing such post. It was an engaging read.
Thank you! They will continue to unfold here … from color to the cosomo 🙂
