Galvanized metals are really grabbing my eyes these days. While watching the Derby yesterday and drinking from pewter cups, I couldn’t help but swoon over the look and feel of pewter. Pewter is a challenge to get these days in the home so the next best thing, galvanized metals.

I also happen to buy a silver pendulum yesterday too so this cool shiny metal is definitely up front and center for me. I LOVE the cool colors that go with silver which is odd since I usually lean towards the warmer hues. 

In the beginning of 2022 I posted about colors that are crystal clear and it is for sure the cool blues and lavenders. 

Similar to the colors I have in both these graphics, I sense that these cool hues will be coming into play for the home. Think about it, when we are stressed and filled with anxiety fro the worlds woo’s, why would we want warm colors that heat things up when we can instantly cool down with these colors?

I’m calling it now just as I did in January – cool hues for the home to keep things cool, calm and collected. Adding metals to the mix will enhance the flow.
