A stone fireplace can be a great focal point in a living. The colors you choose should enhance the stone and also accent the overall of the fireplace.
Here I have three colors that would work perfectly for this living room. The color for the arches I pulled right out from the stonework of the fireplace. You could see that warm beige color in the stone, which would look beautiful in the arches of this room. The arches divide the living room and the kitchen, a perfect place for a substantial color.
I also have a color that teeters between gray and light blue. I really like this color because I think it’s an excellent choice for the main walls of this living room. This gray-blue will stay blended in the room as the accent color, and the color of the arches come forward.
I love the slightly strong saturation of the blue accent color. This blue would look striking on the wall where the fireplace is as a standalone color or on a prominent wall that you’d want to feature.
What is fantastic about these three colors as you can echo them throughout the home, and they will coordinate with this large living space.
