14 Ways To Turn Your Home Into A House of Healing

Healing: making or becoming sound or healthy again. Our homes should do this for us, and there are a few ways we can easily turn our homes into healing centers. Let’s look at fourteen was to transform your home into a house of healing.

1 – COLOR

Of course, my number one would be to start with color. Choose colors that invoke good memories or are uplifting and somehow, in some way, touch your soul. Whether you like coastal colorsneutrals, or traditional color palettes, have a color plan ready for your home. You can find color inspiration from photographs and the decor in your home, and what I like to do is be inspired by the color of crystals.

2 – LOVE

Love should probably be #1, but you know me, I had to put color as the main event here, lol. But seriously, love is the key to so much! If you love your home, these 14 choices will already be on your list, and good for you if they are! Love has a very high vibration, which is what we want in our homes. When your home feels good, you feel good. When you feel good, that frequency stays in your home. Also, tap into the heart chakra and focus on compassion and love.

3 – Cleansing With Selenite

I use selenite to cleanse my aura, my pets, my food, and just about anything I wave it over. It’s the only crystal that has the power to cleanse other crystals, and when you set your intention, it will clear the energy in your home. Like sage, selenite should be used when you have a heated argument in the home to dissipate residual energy instead of lingers. You can recharge or clear your selenite by placing it in the sunlight or moonlight for a few minutes while holding it. Do not leave it in the sun or put it in water. It’s super fragile so store it in a safe place.

4 – Sunsets

Part of your home is your property. Take full advantage of those colors if your home has a clear west-facing area where you can see the sunset. As you gaze at those colors, you are recharging yourself, bringing that energy into your home. Also, take some pictures of those sunsets, frame them and keep them visible for the whole family to enjoy.

5 – Yoga/Meditation Room

By now, most people have some place in their home where they can meditate, do yoga, or qigong. This is such a must in the home; I can’t even begin to tell you! I have a full-size room filled with plants, cards, and crystals. It’s a great room to read, relax and unwind. Need time for yourself? This would be that place.

6 -Sprits of The Drinkable Kind

Life is all about balance. If you see someone who is all unicorns and lollipops, don’t believe a word they say. I’m a firm believer in enjoying life to its fullest. When I’m happy and balanced, the feeling definitely can be felt at home. After all, happy wife, right?

7 – Food

Along the same lines as #6, eating food instantly grounds you. It’s so vital to be grounded and have a balanced root chakra. This for sure can be felt in the home. The root chakra represents home, family, and financial stability. Eat well my friends!

8- Music

Sound heals! Play instruments or the music of your choice and feel those vibes rise in your home. But, keep in mind, certain types of music do the opposite such as heavy metal and some rap music. Trust your gut on this one.

9 – Nature

Bring the outdoors in. Plants and flowers have an amazing healing frequency. It’s a must to have them in the home but be careful if you have pets; many flowers and plants are poisonous to pets.

10 – Crystals

Crystals have incredible healing powers. From amethyst to clear quartz, these shiny beauties are key to a healing home. Don’t have access to buying crystals? Jewelry will do. Rings, earrings, and necklaces that contain precious and semi-precious stones will be perfect.

11 – Humor

Nothing raises the vibration faster in your home than laughter. I received this mug as a present, and every time I look at it, it makes me smile. I drink my tea from it and think of the family member who gave it to me, and that alone raises the vibration again, not only in myself but in my home.

12 – Hobbies

Whether pressing flowers from your garden, painting, singing, or crocheting, these hobbies are a form of expression. Nothing is more satisfying than enjoying something you have created and placing it in your home or giving it as a gift.

13 – Pets

I am sure every single person who is reading this blog right now has a pet. Our pets are our extended family, and we love them just as much as any family member. They bring us joy, laughter, and the most important part, healing. On the days you’re feeling down, stay close to your pet. Your pet cleanses your aura of unwanted energy. Be sure to cleanse your pet with a selenite wand to clear its energy.

14 -Herbs

Lastly, herbs grown in my yard are a considerable part of the healing process in my home. I currently have a family member recovering from surgery, and I give him a homemade tea I grew from my garden. My tea consists primarily of mint, which I dry and have for the winter when my garden is dormant. Nothing is more satisfying than sipping on a cup of tea you made with your hands and grown in your garden. This is incredibly healing.

I mentioned a few ways to change your home into a healing house. The main goal is to surround you and your family with love, compassion, and gratitude. These high-frequency emotions will swirl around your home and comfort you in the healing properties we all need daily.

I hope you enjoyed healing tips for your home. Have fun choosing your color, loving your pets, enjoying your hobbies, growing your herbs, having a sense of humor, enjoying your crystals, making a meditation room, playing music, enjoying the food and the occasional drinks, and just being the wonderful person that you are. Happy healing everyone!
