There are so many great colors out there, and my favorite picks are from Valspar. I worked with Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore over the years, but hands down, Valspar has the better selection of colors, and I have them in my home.
In the center of this color palette is a beautiful, soft neutral I have for the foyer. It’s so warm and welcoming and the first color impression you feel when you enter the home.
Branching off from the foyer are the main rooms of the home. I love the kitchen color because it is the perfect color to match more countertop colors and kitchen cabinet choices. It’s sort of like a natural but with a yellow undertone to tie in the warm tones already in your home.
I’ve said this a million times, any shade of green is hands down the best choice for a living room. Why? The living room is usually the center of the home where the family gathers to watch TV, enjoy the fireplace, sit, read, or enjoy time together. Green is also the color of the heart chakra, which is the center of our body, our chest area where our heart resides.
Not everyone has a dining room; if you don’t, this color would also be perfect for the den, office, or guest room downstairs on the main level.
The bedroom blue is SO pretty and can be used in any room of the home to your liking but it would be awesome for a bedroom and even into a bathroom.
