I hate to sound like a Debbie downer, but I’ve seen this color in homes before, and it does not play out well. 

Sherwin Wiliams just announced their color of the year and it is not a good one. Right off the bat this color looks like a chocolate milkshake, which never looks good in the home. The pink undertone is difficult to match existing warm undertones in the home. As you should know by now, pink undertones do not look well with yellow undertones.

This also has a slight Band-Aid color to it, and for me, this color is always unsettling in the home because I can’t on see the Band-Aid.

Sorry Sherwin williams this was a bad pick for color of the year although, if your paint was scratch and sniff, I would dive right into it! To me this looks like a chocolate milkshake, just waiting to be enjoyed and sipped on regardless of the calories. Like milkshakes? Paint away and enjoy!
