This question came in from my Pinterest platform, and I thought it was a great question to ask. So many people have a gray so far because it coordinates with so many decors, I have one myself. But the question here is, will it go with orange flooring. Shown in the graphic is gunstock wood which is very common in many homes. Let’s explore the options.
If it was my choice, I would change the flooring and that’s exactly what I did in my house. As I said, I purchased a warm gray sofa but could not stand the dreaded orange flooring. You can have the most beautiful sofa, but if your flooring doesn’t look right, it will do no justice to the decor. This is similar to what I now have.
I love the warm tone of this wood and the shades of brown. You can also see some gray in there as well, and it is actually the perfect match to my sofa, which is a warm gray. So to answer this question, if you have a gray sofa, will it go with the orange flooring? It will if your sofa is a warm gray. If your sofa is a cool gray, it may not be the best match, but you can make it work by adding blue pillows on your sofa. Blue and orange look beautiful together, but still, the best scenario would be to get new flooring.
