How To Use Root Chakra Red In Your Home To Heal Yourself

Only some people like red, but if you do, this is the post for you. Let’s first start by saying that using red, in this case, can be any shade or tone of red from deep burgundy to light pink. Typically the color of our Root or Base Chakra will be a primary red. Let’s talk more about that.

using red in your home

In the graphic above, I have a gorgeous burgundy color, which I have in my own home, and it’s a very palatable color for the home. We’ve all seen this color in the home somewhere, and that room is more than likely the dining room. I’ve also seen it in the occasional bedroom but more typically in the dining room. This red trend was quite popular years ago and is not commonly seen in homes now. People tend to use lighter colors in the home, but man were those jewel tones beautiful back in the day.

I spoke about using red in the home before, so in this post, I’d like to add to it and incorporate some updated information for you.

We can all go to the internet and read about the Root Chakra, and I encourage you to do so. But for now, here’s what I have to say in addition to all that.

When our lives are out of balance, or we feel out of sorts, that’s a good indication of our Root Chakra being out of balance. With inflation going crazy right now, this Chakra takes a direct hit every day. How do we stop that awful feeling in our bodies? With color, mindset, and intention.

I’ve been feeling this, too; we all have, so I try to address these unbalanced symptoms right off the bat. I don’t know if I showed this graphic to you or not, but it really helps you understand and know when a Chakra is out of balance.

Reading this graphic, you can see how you may feel when your Root Chakra is balanced and unbalanced. And there is one element here that I want to talk about, and it’s back pain. See it on the UNBALANCED side on the right?

The past two years were a tremendous strain for me, and it was all related to and with family. Without getting into details, my lower back was a mess! The pain was an 8/10 every day, and for a while there, I thought I was going to need surgery.

Lucky for me, I knew that my Root Chakra was a mess, and even luckier for me, I knew how to fix it. It started with color.

For a solid two years, I focused on everything red, from the clothes and jewelry I wore (I love my ruby rings which are my birthstone) to the foods I ate – beets saved my life.

I also did QiGong exercises for my lower back, and that was 50% of what helped me feel better. The other 50% was working out the family matters, crystal work, praying, and setting my intentions every day.

Was this a lot of work? Yes. Did it take a long time? Yes. Was it worth it? Big yes.

So my friends and I’ll talk about this in every blog post from here on out. When a body part hurts, a chakra is already out of balance. It is very fixable, and you can do it, but you need to know which chakra is unbalanced based on how you feel.

NOTE: I am not a medical Doctor and do not give medical advice. I do know a lot about colors and how the chakras relate to our mind, body, and spirit. If you’d like to start with color and get the right colors in your home, I can most definitely help you with that. Fill out the form below and let me know so we can get started.
