About Donna Frasca

It’s always good to know a little about the person you’re about to hire and invite into your home. Here’s a little bit about myself. I’ve worked long and hard to be where I am today, and I am an expert in my field. Come read!

My name is Donna Frasca. I’m an Interior Designer/Color Expert specializing in choosing color palettes for luxury homes, specializing in homes with open floor plans.

I am the owner of Decorating by Donna, which is my company that specializes in JUST color. Featured in Charlotte Style Magazine, the 42nd Annual Color Forecast Issue of Paint & Decorating Retailer Magazine, enLIGHTenment Magazine, Ballantyne Magazine, and STIR from Sherwin Williams. With an extensive career in Graphics and Interior Decorating and Design, I am highly trained to make sure the right colors go into your home. I have many Virtual clients all over the country that have loved my Virtual Color Consultation service.

Background

I accomplished a degree in Interior Decorating and Design with honors. With leanings of art, furniture, and choosing the suitable fabric for its application to the not so fun but oh so necessary aspect of calculating rolls of wallpaper and even figuring out how many porcelain tiles needed for kitchen floor or backsplashes. These are just some of the wonders of Interior Decorating and Design, and I loved it.

My design career included working as a Ceramic Decorator, Graphic Designer for several Long Island newspapers, and Color Matcher for a wallpaper New York company. It then progressed into an official Interior Designer for several Interior Design firms in New York and Pennsylvania. It wasn’t until I worked in the R&D department of a wallpaper design company in New York that I knew I had to pinpoint my career precisely to color. A Color Specialist was born!

Throughout my 30+ years of field experience, I became a color expert. I’ve noticed that there is a huge niche for just choosing the color for inside homes, particularly homes that have an open floor plan. It’s quite an undertaking to be able to virtually design a complete color scheme for a large home. The colors have to flow from one room to another; otherwise, your home can look like a patchwork quilt.

I have a degree in Interior Decorating and Design, Color Certifications, and Reiki Certificates of Achievements. Adding to the list but now shown are certifications awarded in Mediumship and Psychic Detective studies. I’m highly intuitive, which is why my Virtual Color Consultations are so successful, mainly for the clients who have special needs or are interested in Holistic Color for their homes.

Living life as a Certified Psychic Medium, Intuitive Color Expert, Reiki Master Teacher, Animal Communicator, and Certified Angel Intuitive. I use the power of self-awareness and my gifts as a strong Clairvoyant to gain information beyond what is considered the “norm.” As an Intuitive Coach, I dig deep into the colors of the Chakra system and how they relate to our Mind, Body, and Spirit.

It’s my journey and a great one at that! Everything that I experienced from when I was a kid has molded me into who I am today. To connect with the spirit world to share messages of healing and love is to have the best job in the world! I take it one step further by designing holistic and healing colors for many people’s homes via this blog. I love how my two worlds have now blended.
