There are many reasons why virtual consultations are the best way to design color for your home. I’ll mention just a few here but have a feeling this list will grow and grow. Here are my top five reasons why virtual consultations are the best!
SAFTEY
You don’t have to be states or miles away to benefit from my virtual consultations. I recently had a client who was just 10 miles away and he was requesting a virtual. I told him that I can physically be there but he insisted on the virtual. Why? Because his house was under construction and it was not safe to be in. That is a great reason to have a virtual consultation – for safety.
TIME
Sometimes we work on very tight timeframes. Just this week I’ve had a client call me the day she had painters in her home! That was a first, usually they give me at least a few days to a week to work with. Anyway, virtual consultations are absolutely perfect when you need color asap.
Gas
For the car that is! You don’t use a drop of gas when working in virtual design. There is no driving, no traffic, no car accidents, no delays, no detours, no getting lost, no arriving late or too early, to car breakdowns or break ins, no flat tires, nothing! And to me, that’s so very worth it right there.
Location
I can design a virtual consultation anytime and anywhere as long as I have a computer and my paint fan decks. Of course I will also need the right lighting conditions but honestly, that’s not always necessary.
Convenience
You may not even have a Color Expert in your area that you know of. You can always do a Google search but what if your search turns up to be a 20 year old Designer right out of school or a lady who’s husband is fifthly rich and she just wants to “decorate”. I wouldn’t be very comfortable with those results. Here with virtual design, you can choose your designer and it doesn’t matter where they live but it does matter what credentials they have.
