Did you hear the buzz? Word is getting out that purple will be the hue to see at High Point Market this season which is fine with me!
Purple never really left. I’ve been tracking it here where I live in Charlotte, NC and it’s been holding its own since 2007 or should I say at least clients are open to trying it.
How have I used it? Well mainly in wall color of course. Magic Potion, a Benjamin Moore color, remains the #1 purple to have in the Master Bedroom. It works because it’s a color suited for BOTH men and women which is consideration for the Master.
Here I designed a Mood Board showing you how you can incorporate purple into your home. From pillows to linen, try it!
You’re speaking my language – purple. The first color I chose as a little girl to repaint my room was purple. The color was named ‘Cosmos’, although I couldn’t tell you the manufacturer. As you know, based upon my master bedroom moodboard, I plan to paint my ceiling purple!
I also chose a purple, more like a light lavender for my daughters room 17 years ago. Such a fun color!
Ooh! I chose purple as one of the two other colors in our very gray home. BM’s Approaching Storm is dynamic and sets the perfect tone for my husband’s home office space.
Awesome! My home is a light gray and I chose purple (eggplant) for the front door. It looks so classy and modern.
