How? By putting it on the ceiling. First Light by Benjamin Moor is a beautiful color but you have to know where to put it. The obvious choice is on the walls and everyone is flipping out but hold on, think about what this color can do when it’s the last color you see at night and the first color you see in the morning.

First LIght will be the first thing you see if … you put it on the ceiling.
Should we put First Light on the walls? Maybe. The obvious choice is in a nursery, a girls’ room, the bathroom or homes that only women live it – that’s a bit limiting and not going to be a big seller for most people.
Now, I ask you this. What is the one element that every person has in their home but never thinks about color? The ceiling. Oh, I’d be so happy the day we get rid of the white ceiling and start using soft, barely-there colors.
I had a client who had severe emotional issues and I designed a room to heal just using color. I started with the ceiling because it’s the first color you see as you wake up and the last color you look at before you go to sleep.
Think about the soft glow a room would have when we remove the white ceiling and add this pink.
Still too pink for your home? Well, shift your mind to this.

Don’t like pink? Shift your thinking to this. Who doesn’t love the pink nose of a cat? Pink is not always a baby color.
Make your home soothing, healing, and unique. Be mindful when choosing your colors and note how the feel to you.
One of the reasons I love this color is because it reminds me of a Rose Quartz which represents the Heart Chakra and love. How can you NOT bring that feeling into your home?
